Sync your calendar with your coaching sessions
Updated Today by SupportConnecting your personal calendar to Coaching Loft keeps your coaching sessions and your everyday commitments in a single view. Once the two are linked, sessions booked with your coach appear automatically in your own calendar, and a change made in either place updates the other.
Why connect your calendar
- Your coaching sessions sit alongside everything else you have scheduled, so you see your real day in one place.
- Hours when you are already busy are recognised, which stops a session being booked over an existing commitment.
- Reschedules and cancellations update on both sides, so you never enter them twice.
Important note
Until your calendar is connected, Coaching Loft cannot see commitments you have made outside the platform. Those hours keep showing as free, and a session can be booked into time when you are not actually available.
Which calendars you can connect
- Google Calendar
- Office 365 Calendar
- Microsoft Exchange Calendar
- Outlook Calendar
How to sync your calendar with Coaching Loft
- Open Appointments from the left-hand menu.
- In the Calendar panel, select Sync Calendar in the top-right corner.
- Choose the calendar service you use.
- Sign in to that service and approve the access it asks for.
From that point your calendars stay aligned. Anything booked, moved, or cancelled in Coaching Loft appears in your personal calendar, and the commitments already in your calendar are taken into account when session times are arranged.
Before you connect
Check that the time zone in your Coaching Loft settings matches the one in your personal calendar. If the two differ, sessions can show at the wrong hour in one of them. See Set up your time zone & availability.
