Membership Downgrade & Subscription Cancellation

For Independent Coaches
Login to your Coaching Loft Account.
Click your profile picture at the top right of your screen to open the dropdown menu.
Select “Subscription” from the dropdown.
To downgrade your membership:
- Choose your desired membership tier and click “Downgrade”.
- You’ll be redirected to the secure Stripe Customer Portal to manage your subscription.
- Once inside the portal, click on “Update Subscription.”
- Reselect the membership tier you wish to downgrade to, then click “Continue.”
- Review the changes and click “Confirm”
Your membership will now be updated to the selected tier, and your billing will reflect the new plan accordingly.

Coachee Limitations:

If the downgraded plan includes fewer coachee slots, you will be required to deactivate excess coachees.

Deactivated coachees will be inaccessible for 6 months, after which data may be permanently deleted.

From Free Trial:

If you downgrade during the 14-day free trial, you will be charged based on the new subscription level once the trial ends.

No Downgrade from Basic Plan:

The Basic (yearly) plan cannot be downgraded, the only option is to cancel, which will take effect at the end of the subscription term.

To cancel your subscription
- click the "cancel subscription" button.
- Enter your account password to confirm.
- Click "downgrade" to finalize the cancellation.
- your account is now cancelled
What Happens Next:

As soon as you cancel your subscription, you will lose access to your Coaching Loft account and all associated features.

Your billing information will be automatically removed from the system.
Important notes:

During the 14-Day Free Trial:

If you cancel during your trial period, you will not be charged once the trial ends.

Your billing details will be removed, and your account will be deactivated.

Basic Yearly Memberships:
-
As Basic plans are non-refundable, cancellation will schedule your account for deactivation at the end of the 12-month term.

You will not be charged for renewal after that period.
