Coaching in Singapore
Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA), administered by the Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC), sets obligations that include consent, notification, protection, retention limitation, transfer limitation, data breach notification and accountability. Every organization must designate at least one person responsible for its PDPA compliance, usually called the data protection officer, and make that person's business contact information public. A notifiable data breach, one likely to cause significant harm to individuals or of significant scale, must be reported to the PDPC no later than three calendar days after you assess it, and, unless an exception applies, affected individuals facing significant harm must be told.

Under the Transfer Limitation Obligation, personal data transferred overseas must follow the requirements in the regulations so that it keeps a standard of protection comparable to the PDPA's. Your data protection officer will want to assess that for any provider hosted outside Singapore, including us. Enterprise clients can sign a data processing agreement, and every customer keeps the rights to their data and can export it.
