A diagnosis of prostate cancer in 2016 was my catalyst for change. It rocked me and my family. During my recovery, I dug deeper into my values, reminded myself of the unique gifts I bring to the world, and got healthy. My wife and I sold our home in Massachusetts and moved to Vermont. The Green Mountains, hiking, some of the world's best cheeses and beer, friendly people, and Lake Champlain!
Still, inside me there was a stirring to do something more meaningful in my next career, to find a “job” that would honor my values and be of service to others. So I hired a coach. Why? I was willing to consider a different approach and invest in myself to get unstuck. It has been a truly transformative experience.
My coach and I designed an alliance to uncover the values within that motivation. My coach did not solve problems or focus on the past. We built a framework of support as I found my own answers. My coach empowered me to create the best life I could envision. My coach questioned me deeply and was a skillful listener. My coach held me accountable for my actions toward achieving my goals; and continues to be a champion for the choices I make.
I support clients who want to spend more time and energy on what matters to them...they’re unfulfilled; may be going through a career, business, or life transition...they’re stuck; or want to be more present in any circumstance...they want to truly know themselves.

I was born and raised in Montclair, NJ, and graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University. My career started in Boston in the hospitality industry and progressed to various sales and leadership roles at both Fortune 100 companies and startups. In the mid-2000s, I launched my own successful small business and created eight award-winning hot sauces. It was one of the best chapters in my career! I was my own boss, and life was good, yet I felt unfulfilled. I wanted a better quality of life, more balance, more meaning, and purpose. I hired a life coach to get me unstuck—a decision that became a significant turning point in my life.
In December 2018, I decided to choose coaching as my new work and began learning with the Co-Active Training Institute (CTI), the largest in-person coach training organization globally. In April 2020, I became a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC), recognized as the most rigorous and respected coach training and certification in the industry. In addition to being a coach, I’m a husband to my wife, Holly, an avid hiker, a decent cook, and father of two amazing daughters, Sophie and Kelsey.
